The position we run on

Most organisations have already bought AI. Very few have actually adopted it.

The licences are provisioned, the announcement went out, and six months later a small handful of people are using it properly while everyone else went back to how they worked before. The gap is not the tool, and it is not enthusiasm. It is that nobody showed people how the work is actually done differently.

Howll Training closes that gap in two directions at once: the decision layer at the top, and the doing layer across the teams.

We are deliberately tool-agnostic — we will train your people on whichever platform you have already committed to, and tell you honestly where it is weak. Every facilitator uses these tools in real client work every week, which is why the material reflects what is true this quarter rather than what pitched well eighteen months ago.

AI training

Train on the tool you already pay for.

We run sessions on all four major platforms. If you have standardised on one, we train on that. If your teams are split across several, we cover the split honestly rather than pretending one tool wins everything.

Microsoft Copilot

M365 · Teams · Outlook · Excel

The most common problem we are called into: licences bought, adoption flat. We train against your actual tenancy — documents, meetings, mail, spreadsheets — so people use it where the work already lives.

Google Gemini

Workspace · Docs · Sheets · Gmail

For Workspace organisations. Drafting, summarising and analysis inside the tools your teams are already in every day, plus the judgement to know when the output is not good enough.

ChatGPT

Enterprise · Team · custom GPTs

The one your people are probably already using, licensed or not. We turn ad-hoc use into something governed and consistent — shared prompts, custom GPTs, and clear data rules.

Claude

Projects · Skills · long-context work

Strong on long documents, careful reasoning, and organisations with a low tolerance for error. Well suited to legal, policy, government and regulated environments.

Sessions start at $2,000 + GST for groups of 10 or more, and the per-head cost falls as the group grows. Multi-team and multi-site rollouts are scoped as a programme.

How it runs

Scope it. Train against real work. Measure adoption.

Three phases, one engagement. Nothing starts until we know which licences you are already paying for.

01

Scope the real gap

Which licences you already pay for, who is actually using them, and where the work is being held up. We build the session plan from your stack and your workflows, not a generic deck.

02

Train against your work

Sessions run on your tools with your material. People bring live tasks and leave having done them differently. Executives get the decision layer; teams get the doing layer.

03

Measure the adoption

Licence utilisation, hours returned, and what shipped as a result. Reported for leadership so the training has a number attached rather than a satisfaction score.

Formats and pricing

Pick the scale that fits.

All prices ex GST, quoted per session or as a programme. We invoice the organisation and provide a scoped proposal your finance team can approve.

  • Executive level: where the real time and money is won

AI Training

From $2,000 + GST

Your people actually using the tool you already bought. Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude — run for a whole team, department, or group of 10 or more.

  • Per session, groups of 10+ — per-head cost falls as the group grows
  • Built on your licences, your documents, your workflows
  • Role-specific streams: ops, finance, legal, marketing, field
  • Follow-up session to lift the people who stalled

Team Programme

Bespoke

The deep version, run privately for one organisation. Six sessions, one working automation shipped per session, ending in a rollout your leadership can act on.

  • Six sessions across 4–8 weeks, on your calendar
  • Every participant ships something into production
  • Capstone presented to leadership, with the numbers
  • Governance and data handling covered properly

Ongoing Training

Bespoke

For organisations rolling out across multiple sites or waves. A repeatable programme, delivered by us or handed to your own internal champions.

  • Multi-wave delivery across teams and locations
  • We train your trainers, so the skills stay in-house
  • Materials licensed to your organisation
  • Pairs naturally with Howll Advisory

Inside the team programme

Six sessions. Six things that ship.

The shape of the private team programme. AI training sessions draw on the same material, compressed to the tool and the roles in the room.

01

The Honest Landscape

A demo-led tour of what the current tools do and do not do, calibrated to your sector. Teams leave knowing when to reach for AI and when not to.

02

Context, Not Prompts

Why prompt tricks do not survive a model update. Participants build a shared context library against your real documents and standards.

03

Mapping the Busy Work

We map the team's week and pull out the repetitions worth killing first. By session end, one is automated.

04

Building the First Agent

From chatting with AI to AI doing the work. Each participant leaves with one agent handling a real task from their role.

05

Judgment, Risk and Governance

Data handling, hallucination detection, and how to brief legal and risk without sounding naive. The session most training skips.

06

Rolling It Out

Capstone. What it automates, what it connects, what it returns — presented to leadership with the numbers attached.

Receipts, not testimonials

Proof you can check yourself.

Named client references are available on request where the engagement allows. Publicly, here is proof that does not need our word for it.

01

We run this in our own business

Howll's own operations run on the automations we teach — including a live machine-payments store where AI agents buy from us directly. We teach what we actually operate.

02

Taught by operators, not trainers

Every facilitator delivers AI work for clients that week. If they stop practising, they stop teaching here. That is the quality bar.

03

Tool-agnostic on purpose

We hold no reseller margin on Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude. That means we can tell you where your chosen platform is weak, which a vendor's own trainer cannot.

Josh Horneman and Dirk Butter, founders of Howll AI

Who you work with

Your AIO is Josh or Dirk. Not a junior.

Josh Horneman and Dirk Butter have founded, run, and exited businesses. They have sat in the operator's chair, not just the advisor's.

Both now work as fractional AI officers for Australian SMEs. Governance, quick wins, and a roadmap tied to revenue. Whoever is your AIO, you get a founder.

  • NVIDIA Inception partner
  • $250k revenue unlocked for a 10-person services firm
  • 1,300 hours a year saved on one workflow
  • Works across mining, construction, professional services

Individuals and small teams

Not ready to bring the whole organisation?

We run occasional open sessions for individuals. They exist mainly so a leader can test the teaching before committing a department to it, and what you pay is credited against a larger programme if you go ahead. Ask what is coming up.

Scope a programme

Tell us what you have rolled out. We will tell you what is missing.

Thirty seconds, then a scoped proposal. A human replies inside 24 hours — no drip sequence, no funnel.

What are you looking to run?

Three quick questions, then pick a time.
